At first, it feels easier to say yes. After all, WordPress makes changes look simple, and we want to be helpful. But over time, those \u201csmall things\u201d pile up. The finish line keeps moving. Work that should feel complete never does. And slowly, stress replaces satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this talk, I\u2019ll share how repeated scope creep does not just affect timelines or invoices. It quietly affects our mental health. Through real-world WordPress project experiences, we will explore how constant context switching, unclear boundaries, and people-pleasing expectations create ongoing anxiety and burnout, even when the work itself is not technically difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will also look at why WordPress projects are especially prone to this problem, and how the platform\u2019s flexibility can unintentionally encourage endless requests. Most importantly, we will discuss practical, human-friendly ways to recognize scope creep early, communicate boundaries without guilt, and protect our mental energy without damaging client relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
